FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA (USA) – Vessel security, tracking and monitoring systems supplier GOST® (Global Ocean Security Technologies) will provide live tracking of The A-Team on board the Nor-Tech 392 SUPER FISH as they cruise through the Bahamas in the 2nd Annual Hang ‘em High Challenge in Hawk’s Nest.
Live tracking of The A-Team’s location at 30-minute intervals will be broadcast April 4–12 at the GOST Nav-Tracker web site, www.nav-tracker.com (see below for login information).
Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats, a Florida-based powerboat manufacturer, has set its sights on the offshore saltwater fishing boat market with an ambitious approach that includes many tournament-ready center console fishing boats. Heading up this endeavor is Alden Thornton, the national saltwater sales manager and team leader of The A-Team, who will be running the 39 foot center console powered by Quad Mercury 300HP Verado outboards.
The A-Team’s boat is equipped with the GOST NT-Evolution 2.0 Inmarsat satellite-based wireless marine security, monitoring and tracking system with global remote accessibility. The next-generation NT-Evolution 2.0 is a marine grade, water resistant, wireless security, monitoring and tracking system that provides global arm/disarm and relay control over satellite from anywhere in the world, with the reassurance of a battery back-up.
“We are excited to continue our great working relationship with GOST and even more excited to have the Nav-Tracker document a live, bread crumb trail of our entire tournament trip. The NT-Evolution 2.0 also gives us peace of mind knowing that our boat is protected at night,” Alden Thornton said.
